IX. Shipping costs

The value of shipping costs is borne by the customer and will be calculated based on the weight of the products, the weight of the secure packaging, and their destination. This value will be indicated in the shopping cart before the final validation of the order.

All taxes and fees associated with the products and their transportation are included in the final amount payable, except for customs duties payable, whether within or outside the European Union countries.

 

X. Receipt of orders / Complaints and Returns in cases of damage to products

All our products are properly packaged, in appropriate packaging. However, without prejudice, we recommend that all orders are examined by the customer upon receipt. If any irregularity or damage to the product is detected, we ask you to confirm that the content is intact, and you can return it; refuse it if you believe it is not in the best condition.

In case of any anomaly with the order at the time of delivery, we request, if possible, the sending of a photographic record through the email montedaburquilheira@gmail.com. If any imperfection or damage to the product is detected, the customer must duly contact Monte da Burquilheira, sociedade agrícola e turística unipessoal, Lda. By phone or by email, so that you can resolve the situation as quickly as possible.

XVI. Returns, exchanges and order cancellations

An order can be cancelled by the customer, free of charge and without any justification, provided that such cancellation is made before payment and subsequent dispatch processing.

B. Return of order

Under the terms of the right of free resolution, provided for in Decree-Law No. 24/2014, of February 14, the Customer has a period of 15 days from the receipt of the order to proceed with the return of the goods. However, upon return, the product must remain intact and must be in the same conditions as it was sold (including packaging that comes with the product, labels and back labels), without signs of use, otherwise, the return will not be accepted by Monte da Burquilheira, sociedade agrícola e turística unipessoal, Lda. If the Customer wants to return an order after receiving it, it must be carefully reassembled and sent back to the shipping address indicated in the transport notes.

The Customer must keep the order in good condition until the return is made. The amount paid by the Customer will be returned, after received and checked, the products are in perfect condition. The refund of the purchase, if accepted, will be made within a maximum period of 14 calendar days from the date on which the Customer exercises the right of withdrawal. Shipping costs will not be refunded.

Some of the products sold on the website are perishable or susceptible to change, depending on the handling conditions, temperature, light or humidity, so the return of a product subject to conditions that have deteriorated its quality will not be accepted, in accordance with the provisions of article 17. , no. 1, subparagraph d) of Decree-Law no. 24/2014, of 14 February.

 

C. Order exchange

Additionally, purchased products may be exchanged for another item that is available on the website’s online store as long as they are in perfect condition and the packages have not been opened or are not damaged.

The customer will receive the corresponding invoice with their order.
