This unique ceramic piece, crafted in earthenware, is part of the ongoing series If the Earth Were Not Round.

Inspired by the shifting tones of water in landscapes of memory, they explore the continuous dialogue between water and land. Each form emerges through a slow and intuitive process, where the gesture follows and embraces the natural behaviour of clay.

The surfaces are developed using glazes made from natural oxides, whose chromatic variations evoke the nuances of the surrounding landscape. Between control and chance, each piece reveals subtle transformations of colour, texture, and movement.

Formally, I work with earthenware and natural oxide glazes. All pieces are hand-built without the use of moulds, and the glazes are applied by brush, reinforcing the process-led and unique character of each work.

These abstract ceramic landscapes stand as singular objects, where matter and time meet in a quiet expression of balance and contemplation.
